I had high hopes for this product and suspect it could be good. But it arrived packaged as shown. Part of the carpet was folded and glued firmly to itself and took a few minutes to peel off. As a result, the mat was deformed at the creases and did not lay flat, making it impossible to attach the suction cup to the table. I'm glad I ordered the Modaliy Scooper Bowl for my husband. He has Parkinson's disease and finds it easier to eat oatmeal and soup from this bowl. I also like the attached cutlery holder as it gives the bowl some stability and keeps spills out. He likes it too. I found this bowl after using the ladle bowl for years and then my daughter outgrew the bowl. I've bought other bowl/plate options but the suction just didn't work. My daughter is disabled so she needs something permanent with a lip to spread her food on the spoon before putting it in her mouth. The key to all of this is keeping the bowl in place.
