I'm doing "Slow Reno". This little lamp is very attractive and sturdy in the bedroom I'm working on. I bought a similar flashlight, ignoring its long lower stem. This is a great alternative to the typical hanging drum. Glass balls are very easily and securely attached to a metal base. It comes with four very bright lights. I bought a dimmer to control this. Simple, stylish and easy to install.

Do not buy if you do not have your own parts store. There are no instructions included, the mounting screws are too short to assemble and there are no wire nuts. I've been able to assemble some parts from old jigs but no mounting screws and I don't feel like going to Home Depot for the right screw because it's never easy. What a bummer that Modo ships its lights like this. I've installed dozens of devices, never had a problem.

The light came on without a problem, just what we were looking for in my son's room. Unfortunately he accidentally broke the sphere while fumbling and I had to contact Modo Lighting to purchase a replacement. They responded quickly and offered to send a new one for free. I was surprised and humbled by this thoughtful suggestion as it wasn't her fault. I also bought a couple of window moldings from them that go well with the gold trim on this light fixture (if you need them). They are beautiful,

This mount is cheaply made, I hate to talk about it. And poorly packaged for shipping. I had to return it twice due to damaged parts. It doesn't come with the proper hardware to install, so prepare for a trip to your local hardware store and there aren't any instructions here (which is good if you know how to install a simple jig).
