Good quality, not adjustable

The legs are very short and the metal is tough. So I won't even try to set them up. The fit is loose but I could be wrong with the sizing. Another brand had separate hardware for a wider range of settings.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Love moen's Nickel Finish

I built a new house and put all the Moen fixtures all over the place. Our previous home had Moen and in 21 years we have never had a problem with any fixtures so I wanted to stay with Moen. I wish they had some new designs but quality is everything. LOVE the look and look forward to another 20 years of reliability!

Beautiful and functional

I bought this earlier to match the other polished nickel fixtures in my bathroom (just finished my second bathroom, bought the same fixtures). Beautiful in the tile I chose. The holes are big enough to keep things out of them (although that might not be great for clogs, but I've never had one). Easy to insert and remove.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Nice but very short protrusions at the bottom, too short to hold my drain

Too bad these drain caps don't have a picture of the back. The one I bought a year ago had 2 inch cleats that stayed in place. Unfortunately it was thinner metal and one broke. This would make a nice solid drain cover if it matched my remodeled shower floor which has polished stones and is thicker than a regular floor.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some flaws

Quality upgrade to match Moen fittings Polished Nickel

This is a higher quality strainer than you can find in big stores. Got this to match the new Moen light fixtures I got for my bathroom and I'm glad I did. It's a small detail, but this drain cover looks more expensive than traditional shower drain covers, and if you have Moen faucets you can customize the finish so the drain cover matches everything else.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Clarity

Fits perfectly on my fiberglass shower and installs with ease

All I had to do was unscrew the old drain with a screwdriver and then just use a comet to clean around the drain ring as I needed it after a decade of use, threw it right over the ring and it fit flawlessly. It's a much more durable feel than the old one and I'm less scared of Cthlulu babblers coming out of the sewers to mess with my jibbles while my eyes are closed washing my hair because it has more holes that are smaller as the factory panel was built in with shower.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Weight

This gutter cover is a beautiful thing - UPDATE

UPDATE December 2018: My local plumbing wholesaler figured out what I needed. My shower drain is Trim to the Trade brand. They ordered me 4T-077-G from Trim to the Trade and it fits perfectly. He's not as strong and handsome as Moen, but he's good enough and fits. I want it to match my stock. Thank you Revain, refund was easy. The pin diameter is 2 15/16". Unfortunately my shower spout diameter is 2 25/32 or just over 2 3/4". So far I have not found a drain cover with a pin diameter (small…

Elegant brass shower channel

I am renovating my shower fitting and therefore need a matching brass drain. It's very shiny and elegant. It's a good price and fits perfectly. It's also well made and should last a long time. Lately we've had problems with scorpions coming out of the sewers. It's too close to comfortable for my wet fingers. So I pulled out the old drain with a butter knife. I then used the new one as a template and attached the window grille to the 2 pins on the underside. Then he put it back in its place. I…

A small detail that completes the overall impression

This Moen strainer is the finishing touch to a quality shower. Photo of a brushed nickel cover versus a stainless steel mop, a brushed nickel footrest with spray paint, and a chrome plated shower hose. Steel drain filter for shower). More like "white metal" than stainless steel, it was light, thin, and all edges were sharp like cookie cutters. All edges are slightly rounded to give it a smooth and elegant look. It has 4 prongs on the bottom that can be easily bent to adjust for a snug fit. As…
