Moen DN4150BN Stockton Freestanding Pivoting Review

Two of my small bathrooms have uncomfortable TP wall mounts, so I decided I needed something more practical. I just renovated my bathrooms and all the metal fixtures are matte chrome so they were perfect. i like her weight Heavy enough to stay in place and light enough to move. Assembly consisted of twisting the top and bottom pieces. The roles are easily changed by lifting the right side of the cargo area. They are small enough not to interfere with movement.

This toilet paper holder was just right for our complete bathroom renovation. With new tiles, we don't need a fixed toilet paper holder in the wall. It is very strong and will NOT tip over! Toilet paper unrolls effortlessly. I particularly like the swivel arm for the new reel change. The swing arm feels very solid and is easy to assemble. Brushed metal goes well with gray and brushed metal accents in the bathroom. It's easy to set up, very well weighted, stands upright and is solid.

The overall design is very nice and it gets the job done BUT the distance from the top of the TP holder itself to the ground is only about 18.5 inches so it is so VERY short - much closer to the ground than a TP mount can normally be mounted. Also, for reasons only known to the manufacturer, the base is NOT flat (it has four raised sides) so there is literally no way to position the holder so it won't wobble when the reel is pulled out. Item arrived in perfect condition and was easy to assemble. This holder was bought to replace the one that we had to loosen a screw every time we changed toilet paper.
