🧺 Stylish Moen YB2303BN Glyde Robe Hook - Brushed Nickel Finish for Your Bathroom Review

I love the design of the Moen Glyde series. Very easy to install but does not include screw to install in stud. Slightly more expensive for the polished nickel version - the chrome version is half the price.

Perfect fit for my new half bath. I bought a toilet paper holder to match and both are beautifully polished nickel. Easy to install and looks very nice with my new brushed nickel faucet. See photo. Durable product. would recommend.

So many shower hooks are plastic and cheap looking. I bought 3 of these based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Very easy to install. We decided to put 2 on the solid wood door and one on the shower wall to put a towel on when bathing. These work perfectly.

This item looks nice and modern and it goes well with other fixtures in my bathroom. But it doesn't stay in the mount that comes with the kit. The gentlest tug on the towel will rip it right off the door, rendering it useless. I wish I was still in the reverse window. Don't buy this. Buy something else.

Now I see a few other people having the same problem of the hook not staying on the wall. I also see a few reviews where people say it is very easy to put together. I'm not sure what they do and neither am I, but my hook won't stay attached to the wall.

I have bought Moen hooks in the past and have really liked them. The problem with these new hooks is that the fasteners that attach to the wall are now plastic instead of metal. I was very disappointed with this change. The hooks look great once installed but I am concerned about durability over the years.

The locking mechanism is terrible I won't be buying these hooks again. I was hoping because I bought another Moen towel hook and liked how easy it was to install (a tiny little screw to connect the two pieces). But this one relies on a plastic locking mechanism that clicks into place, not all hooks click into place. Some found it easier than others. Very very annoying setup.

Moen Glyde Coat hook Chrome, elegant and attractive. I found it very easy to install and great for holding a large fluffy bath towel. I love minimalist design, which is why a lot of bathroom items feel artistic and artificial. Like most wall mounts/towel rails etc these days it uses a plastic mount. The hook is removable, but care must be taken not to damage the plastic clasp.
