Description of 🔌 Moes Dual Power Controller: 50A 5500W Automatic Transfer Switch for Off-Grid Solar/Wind Systems - ATS DC 12V 24V 48V AC 110V 220V

【Beneficial to Solar or Wind System】: On cloudy or windless days when your battery gets low, it will automatically switch to grid power, protect your battery. 【Works like an opposite direction UPS】: The ATS controller will switch to grid power when batteries votagle are lower than cut off point,it will switch back to battery power when the batteries votagle are higher than recovery point. 【Auto distinguish】: DC 12/24/48V,AC 100-120V 60HZ / 220-240V 50HZ auto distinguish.User can define the Cut-Off and Recovery Voltages.Recovery voltage must be higher than Cut-off voltage. Battery type: Suitable for Sealed,Gel,Lead-acid,Lithium battery and so on. as long as the voltage of your battery are within the voltage ranges in the followings.9-17V at 12V system;18-30V at 24V system; 30-60V at 48V system. 【Big Power】: 5.5kw(110V) or 11KW(220v),Fast Transfer time:Inverter transfer to public power ≤10ms,public power transfer to inverter ≤16ms. 【LCD display】: Battery real-time voltage;working status of public power, inverter and battery.⭐Note: The controller needs to connect the battery, powered by the battery and get battery power data.

Optimization of alternative energies.

I've been playing and testing the device for over 2 weeks now (retired - have time). I was impressed with the switching time between utility and inverter and back. - Absolutely no flickering lights in the house or on any of the PC or TV monitors. The device allowed me to get the most out of my solar panels and battery without my battery voltage dropping below 12.5V. volts (after 2 hours rest). I set my battery pack regulation (3 x 102Ah - 306Ah - Flooded Lead Acid - Deep Cycle) to 12.1V public…

Works fine, came with a bad 12V DC connector, I fixed it.

Okay I wired this up using 8 AWG Temco weld wire, male connectors and a crimping tool and added lighting for the 3 pin outputs to neutral and hot lead just no ground. I made a city power supply with a 3 pin plug and plugged it into an outlet. The inverter on my wind/solar hybrid has a 3.5kW Puresine 7.5 max 30A RV connector that is hardwired with 6/3 Karol cable and then to the inside of the house leads, and I connected 8 AWG neutral and hot to another 3 pin plug and connected it to the…

Great, but grounding is a guess and LCD requires AC, not DC

Pros: Works exactly as advertised: Switches to mains when voltage is lower than user specified. Allows me to avoid low voltage inverter shutdown during startup spikes and battery wear by avoiding using them below 75% charge. warns of a "smoldering fire" if something goes wrong. Contains little to no information on grounding the AC output line from the transfer switch. It's also not clear what is powering the LCD, which makes me panic if it doesn't run the LCD on battery power alone, for fear…

Reliable and versatile

I like that I can program low/high voltage shutdown/resume to toggle. and return to standard inverter mode. Since I don't power the network, I don't have to worry about permissions or toast anyone in the event of a power outage. My system is very minimal, using only 2p4S lead-acid UPS batteries with a capacity of around 18Ah each. So at 48 VDC I get 32 Ah. However, when my 2000w inverter turns on each morning, it keeps the batteries charged while running two 6.5 amp and 7.1 amp fridges, some 2…

Works very well! Best in Solar and Wind

I live in northern Arizona and have been using a hybrid solar system for 3 years. I have a large 12v battery with two separate inverters and also mains power. I've tried to rely less on the state-owned power company. My system worked like a dream until last winter when I was gone. We had almost no sun while I was away and my batteries were very low. Batteries have never been the same - not as efficient. I came across this product and almost couldn't believe it. It turned out to be exactly what…

SKETCH. may be great, but it's a danger waiting to fail

It works, but it's not secure. First, there is no mechanical lock. This is necessary when two relays or contactors feed different power supplies! It has a good chance of frying your inverter. Not if, but when. It's definitely a fire hazard. The logic/solid state part of this device is good in terms of screen and menus and usability. But where real power relays will come into play is unclear. If you inductively load this device, it becomes a very schematic device. Inductive loads have a very…

Who, what, where to ask questions?

The unit looks well built with large diameter connectors but nothing identifies it as an MES ATS switch, although the manual says it is covered by a 1 year warranty (at the discretion of the manufacturer) there is no manufacturer. Customer Service address or contact number. Ratings are for various combinations of AC or DC 600/1200/2400/5500/11000W based on 2 relays labeled 240VAC 60A / 48VDC 60A relay with 12VDC DC control circuit using a 9-90 VDC battery input test connector. only ROS FC CE…

The idea is incredibly clever!

I bought this automatic switch for my new 4000W off-grid solar system. It's amazing and smart. Below are the points I summarized after using it for some time. The anger I have is gone because of this device. As we all know, the on-grid solar system is very expensive, and the off-grid system will stop charging the batteries for a period of time on a rainy day, which will spoil my experience. This ATS can solve this problem perfectly. When the batteries run out, it will automatically switch to…
