The rubber is softer but still durable. The spacing between the pins fits my wrist much better! I first tried it on my Fenix 3 and had a very positive experience. When I switched to the Fenix 5x I bought the exact same strap from the same seller!

Simply clip on, relatively easy to replace. This new band is noticeably thinner than the original band so I don't know how long it will last. For the price, however, unbeatable. Especially when compared to a $50-$75 replacement.

Until you replace the strap pins on your Garmin Fenix 3 (because the pins are not included, although the tool to remove the old pin) I really like these straps recommend. They cost three times less than Garmin branded straps, and as for the cost of the straps themselves, I can't see any significant difference.

Almost identical to the original strap but softer and more flexible. It's more comfortable and seems less prone to cracking over time than the original. It also comes in many great colors! I've been wearing it every day for several weeks now. Withstands sweat, pool swimming and everyday wear.

If you don't need to replace the strap pins on your Garmin Fenix 3 (because the pins aren't included, although there are tools to remove the old pins) then I can highly recommend these tapes. They are three times cheaper than branded Garmin straps and as for the straps themselves I don't see a significant difference.
