Update: I stopped using the Microsoft pen and started using another cheaper one stylus to use and it works very well with new stylus. The tip is harder so it really feels like paper and no longer feels rubbery. You must be very careful when cleaning to avoid bubbles. I ended up with a small stain on the edge, but that's okay. I spent 10 minutes cleaning the screen and another 5-10 minutes to apply the screen protector perfectly. After the protective film was firmly attached, I began to pull on tab 2. Before I realized what had happened, half of the protective film came off with it. I put it down immediately and saw that the dust particles had already made it their home. Until then, I'm reluctant to leave my surface. There is also an issue where my screen fails to register my touch unless I press firmly. PROS: - Nice

Well I applied this about a day ago and didn't know what to expect. But I have to admit that it's much better than I expected. At first I wanted to take it off and throw it in the trash. The surface finish was "at first" awful to write on or touch. It was terrible. Before I threw it away though, I decided to wear it down a bit to reduce the texture of the surface a bit. So I used the included hard card to squeeze out the air bubbles and started scratching the screen with it to erase the surface texture a bit. Tried to write much better.
