The touch part of the remote control is disturbing. The little lip that wraps around the top of the remote rises up a little more than it should. For a week I couldn't figure out why the fast forward and skip gestures on the remote weren't working properly. This is because this cover also slightly touches the touchpad.

The quality is everything I hoped for, I gave 3 stars for the imprecise color rendering. The yellow I received is not the yellow in the photos they used to show. Luckily my choice fell between orange and yellow. So I'll deal with disappointments. Not worth sending back but not the color I bought based on the photos.

Did you know that the AppleTV Remote is dark and you always lose it and can't find it? yes you need one of these Don't lose your remote control anymore. The bright yellow color is easy to see wherever you sit. Also makes it easy to tell which side is "up" on the remote. Apple really needs to redesign the remote as the current design is pretty rubbish. You definitely need one of these. buy it now!

Perfect fit and the contrasting color makes it hard to lose. Makes the remote control more ergonomic, easier to hold and use. One issue is that the silicone around the top stuck to the button press and the remote acted oddly for a while, clicking or not clicking unexpectedly. It seemed to go away after a while, so there may be a slight break with this product. Overall we are very glad we bought it and are happy with the purchase.

I love Apple products but can I just say what a terrible POS Apple TV Remote is? This is a prime example of form over function. The surface material is slippery and the design is such that you cannot tell which end is up and which is down by touch.
