Use this unit to replace an almost identical natural colored shelf. I wanted black to match my gear. I use these shelves to house a small guitar amp (Positive Grid Spark Amp) that fits perfectly on the top shelf. The middle shelf is for cable storage and the bottom shelf (no shelf) is used for the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface. Everything fits perfectly on these shelves and is well maintained.

Purchased for use as a monitor/15" laptop stand. Raises the screen to the ideal height to reduce neck strain. Easy assembly, even a screwdriver is included. It is recommended to add wood glue to the connecting pins on the top shelf, otherwise if you try to move the shelf, the top shelf will be raised immediately. The measurements in the description were accurate. Great floor shelf. I bought a black shelf with two levels (no compartments/drawers).

Although this stand serves its purpose, I don't trust it to last long. It's very shaky. I would not recommend putting a heavy monitor on it. I use the bottom open area to slide the keyboard down, the second tier is my dock and headset, and the first tier is my laptop and its cooling pad. Behind and below that is my monitor stand so that all my devices are together. The wires are a mess at the moment but I just feel it. I bought 3 of these and I want to buy another one. I started working from home and was sent home with 2 monitors. I only had a tiny 24 inch table so I had to come up with something. I put my 2 drawer filing cabinet next to my desk and bought 2 of them and then improvised with a shelf from a hardware store.
