Used for my daughter who has a heart condition that causes her heart to beat too fast at times. When we could get it to work it was accurate, but most of the time we couldn't get it to get a reading no matter where we placed it.

My baby was born at 30 weeks and is coming home now. I tested it myself to see if it would notify my phone when it's locked and it doesn't. All my phone does is vibrate when my heart rate gets lower than what I've set, but it doesn't alert you if something's wrong. I will return it to find something better to protect my baby and comfort me in case of a reflux episode.

Don't let the number of reviews fool you! This thing has given me so much peace of mind! Yes, better than an owl and cheaper! It will beep when the oxygen is low or there is no reading. Any alarms that come through your phone while the app is connected just won't be audible if the app isn't on screen! However, it vibrates every time! And the best part is that you can set your thresholds for when to trigger it.

Excellent device. Our daughter's baby has some issues and mom is always worried that something might happen and she won't be around soon enough or notice. This monitor takes away your worries and lets mom sleep a little more at night. During the day she can do some of the things she feels she needs to do. The device doesn't take away all the stress, but it certainly gives Mom some personal time. Highly recommended.

If you are thinking of buying this baby monitor, DO IT! I have an owl's dream sock, but I didn't like that it didn't offer real-time oxygen control. Owlet is an expensive sleep tracker that I regret buying. This baby monitor is 1000 times better than an owl and costs a lot less. I'm sure you can see your current oxygen concentration and heart rate with this system. You can also set low oxygen and heart rate parameters. This thing gives me so much wit and I'm so glad I bought it.

I've only been using it for a few hours and it's better than the owl ever was. My son was born at 33 weeks, and the fact that I was hooked up to a monitor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and then nothing worried me. First, you can set your own alarm limits for how loud you want it to sound. I love that I can have this in the car as opposed to an owl. The only thing is that only one person can see it at a time. i don't love it But I can only recommend it. Don't let it run up your leg to discourage
