The product does the job. I was concerned about the very thin wire used to make the cable because I had to route the cable behind the drywall. A thicker wire reduces the likelihood of the wire breaking if pinched or hitting a sharp edge (e.g. metal studs or unpolished metal holes). Otherwise the cable has been routed with great care and using a plastic tube and our connection between audio devices works.

I was expecting pops and such but I just needed a way to connect my echo dot to my stereo because the stereo lacks bluetooth and the echo is next to the stereo she can't hear a word of what I'm saying. Works great, used to place computer speakers next to the bed to improve TV sound. The cable is of good thickness, not cheap and flimsy like other wires. The 3.5mm plug fits snugly and is snug at both ends, and thanks to this extension, we don't hear any static or other noise through the speakers.
