Great cable for the money!

Bought these cables to connect a 5 channel amp to my receiver. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. Will more expensive cables sound better than these? Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what you think of audio cables and what your ears are telling you. I can tell you that these cables sound very good. The cables perform as designed and look great. I have purchased these cables before and am very happy with the price I paid and the quality they offer. Give them a chance, your wallet will…

Don't overpay for digital coax cable

This 3ft digital coax cable arrived at my door today and I replaced the analog cable I was using from my CD player to the receiver. wow ! Doesn't matter. The soundstage was wider, the bass was more pronounced and the picture was incredible. Suddenly my CDs started to come alive and I keep playing them and enjoying the 'new' sound I have with them. I only gave it a 4/5 gauge because the wire came with a sleeve torn off at the end, but I just twisted it around. For the price, you can't beat…

  • Very good value for money

Low quality. Used as an extra cable

Bought two. Low quality. Used as an extra cable. If it worked, it worked well. Good signal for my subwoofers. The soldering on one of them was bad and caused grounding issues that sent out a signal that would have damaged my SVS subwoofer if the subwoofer had a built in signal limiter to prevent damage to the amp. The red light on the subwoofer indicated signal overload, I replaced the cable, the overload light went out. Cable replaced, parking light back. The RCA jacket on all cables is very…

  • Comfortable to use

Not good enough to ditch my wired mouse

I wanted to go wireless to get rid of the unsightly cords on my desk. But unfortunately, and probably with any wireless mouse, there is a small, but rather unacceptable lag when moving the cursor from a stationary position. When you move the mouse from its "rest" position, the cursor takes a split second to respond. My wired mouse doesn't have this feature. This behavior causes me to miss my target position and is a bit frustrating. The mouse also seems a bit small. I have average male hands…

Not sure if it was new or used

I used a regular RCA cable before and after some research I wanted to know what the difference is to a better cable, it actually is! I got way more bass with this cable. BUT! It was also accompanied by an annoying hum. After some fiddling I noticed that the connectors on the end were loose and just unscrewing, cracking the plastic shielding. Also, the subwoofer doesn't automatically turn off with this cable, due to the constant hum I assume. Sent back and replaced with a Mediabridge ULTRA…

Excellent, durable accessory cable

I bought this cable after purchasing several other Monoprice cables. I basically wanted it because it was better built than the extra cable I was using. I particularly like that it was suitable for RCA coax, which means better signal transfer due to a thicker conductor. When I received the new Monoprice add-on cable, I noticed that it was similar in design and construction to recently purchased Monoprice premium RCA XLR cables. At this price point and with its features, it was an easy purchase.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not sure

Great subwoofer cable!

I've had this cable with my subwoofer for a long time. This is the second cable I use for this purpose. I just moved into a new house and left the first cord in place just because saving $10 was too much work. I didn't hesitate to order exactly the same as the first one as it has served me well. I have it running through the attic in a 22 foot room, and having about 5 feet or more at each end is ideal. work with. My subwoofer is Klipsch RW-12D and this cable works great. I hear no hum or…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I don't dislike much, it's ok

Monoprice RG6/U cables are ideal for those who want good quality and don't want to break. The good thing about Monoprice cables is that they have all the qualities of high quality (over)cables for the price. For example, they have a pure copper conductor, which much more expensive cables can boast of. Additionally, these cables have VERY low capacitance, which means they're ideal for long runs without worrying about signal loss or high frequency drop. I measure them and 19 pf/ft which is the…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not the best

Very Happy: Audio Cable

I used a 25 foot Monoprice digital coaxial audio cable to connect the coaxial output of my USB coaxial audio adapter to the coaxial input of my amplifier. The result completely convinced me. To avoid my mistakes when working in tight spaces, be careful not to overcome this cable's natural resistance to bending. Bending the cable back on itself destroys the insulation. From what I've read, this leads to poor transmission performance over time. (If the insulation breaks, you can feel the "crush"…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Chunky
