Well built, well protected does the job.

I have used several "Made for Mobile" Mono Value cables. They are all very well designed and have additional features that fit most (but not all) protective cases. Well shielded, good value for money, everything I need. This stays on the back of my computer and I can plug my headphones into the privacy jack or plug an extra cable from portable speakers into the jack.

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Rugged, shielded and inexpensive

I've tested the noise floor with and without this new addition - it doesn't matter what's good. That 6 foot extension doesn't interfere. The extension cords that come with some cheaper lavaliers are unshielded and create shocking interference. This cable fixes that. Also, many cables aren't strong, but this one seems to be a good compromise between weak and flexible.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good: Those "metal " caps on the ends

Good: Those "metal" caps on the ends? They are actually made of metal. When I ordered it I thought it was just shiny plastic. In addition, it connected perfectly and did not degrade the signal. The bad: those "metal" caps on the ends? They were glued on and one of them got lost after a few days. This is easy to fix. Ugly: This is a slightly thicker cable, which can be both good and bad. It feels solid but not exactly flexible, and if you're using an extension cord with a small headphone it adds

Super long works super well

This cable didn't work the first time but knowing Monoprice I expected it so they sent me a new one to replace it. The second worked flawlessly, with no distortion and problems with the left and right channels, like the first. I have a 25ft footer so the fact that it works was a surprise in itself. The ends have a beautiful sheen of silver and gold and the connections are tight. The plug end has a small rounded part at the base to give extra room to plug into smaller or tighter areas (e.g. a…

Excellent until gone

Worked well for a while but over time (4-6 months?) one channel ran out. If you plug headphones into it very slowly, there will be a point where only the left channel will turn on, but when fully plugged in, only the right channel will work. I tried rocking it and didn't notice any exposed wires or obvious kinks. Sure, I've bumped into the cord a few times with my computer chair (unintentionally, but hey, it happens), but as far as I can tell, the problem was actually with the connector itself…

Lausy Connection Best in cables and connections

Suitable for connecting noise-cancelling headphones to your TV. It's quite long and not particularly prone to tangling. The only reason I keep 4 stars is that the ends were a bit loose when they arrived and feel like they might unravel in the future. Update 2018: downgraded from 4 stars to 1 star because the female end never allowed a clean contact with my headphones. I used to be able to rotate it to at least get sound from both channels, but it was only mono and it was very unreliable…

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • Quality

Given all my positive experiences with Monoprice products, I'm really surprised at how poorly this cable serves its purpose. I've read a number of other reviews on Revain that said the connection isn't great and the cable doesn't meet Monoprice standards. I thought my experience would be different because after all, Monoprice makes good things cheap, right? no Heed these warnings! This cable does not fit. The jack doesn't always send both channels to my headphones and I end up having to twist…
