Suitable for connecting noise-cancelling headphones to your TV. It's quite long and not particularly prone to tangling. The only reason I keep 4 stars is that the ends were a bit loose when they arrived and feel like they might unravel in the future. Update 2018: downgraded from 4 stars to 1 star because the female end never allowed a clean contact with my headphones. I used to be able to rotate it to at least get sound from both channels, but it was only mono and it was very unreliable, requiring frequent "wiggling" to keep the sound in both ears. Now I spend more time on the "shake" than the sound on either side, so I ordered a replacement from another manufacturer. This never worked properly.
