Couldn't handle 4K/HDR/4:4:4

I ordered a pair of these cables because I wanted certified cables to transmit 4K between my devices, receiver and TV. Receiver - Pioneer Elite VSX-LX101TV is a Samsung 82NU8000 Sources include: Xbox One X, Playstation 4 Pro and Nvidia Shield The cables did not transmit signals when the devices were set to 4K. 1080p was ok but not 4K. Replaced the cables with another brand and everything was fine. I am not sure if they are really certified.

Do not buy. Not Premium certified. Does not support 18Gbps or HDR.

I had a big problem with this cable. I almost replaced my new TV because I thought the TV was broken. The picture flickered, disappeared and the sound disappeared. The cable just couldn't support 4K HDR. This cable does not offer the 18 Gbit/s required for HDR transmission. It makes me wonder how this company can put a "Certified" sticker on this cable because it's pure junk. Do not be fooled. Do not buy.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No Insurance

Check connector for symmetry! Can damage the device!

10" cables work fantastic. This one (15'), on the other hand, messed up one of my HDMI ports! There was a small loose contact on the cable and that was causing the problem. One of the pins is now bent back and beyond repair without a new control board (facepalm). The irony lies in the fact that this port didn't need HDMI, but before that it was enough. But since the price was right, I decided to get the whole set and secure myself for the future. Since I run my cables through the wall I use all

4K/HDR? Don't skimp on cheap cables, choose these!

I have a 4k/HDR Roku Ultra, a 2016 Marantz 4k/HDR AVR and a Vizio P65 4k/HDR TV. I first tried RevainBasics cables claiming "up to 18GB capable" but none of them passed the Roku 4k/HDR test once connected and I couldn't get an image at more than normal 4k. I took a chance and tried these Monoprice certified cables and the first shot after connecting passed the Roku test and the image came out in full 4k/HDR. I'm not the type to ever pay extra for "certified" cables, but now I feel confident…

Finally a working cable for PS4 Pro

Ordered a pair of HDMI 2.0 cables that were 25ft long. Too bad I didn't run a few more tests before running them through the pipeline. They display correctly between my PS4 Pro and a Sony 850D 4K TV, but only at 2K resolution. After much debugging, I used the factory cable, which shows the highest performance. So I researched further and decided it was worth trying to find something truly "certified" Premium and some other reviews mentioned that it works with their PS4 Pro. So even though it…

From a technological point of view, all HDMI cables should be the same down to the build quality, but it looks like some of them don't live up to the advertised standards. Internally, they're all pretty much the same, so I thought things like "high speed" and "premium certified" were just marketing gimmicks, akin to monster cables or fancy design cables. While there aren't any real differences between the pins and pinouts of various HDMI cables, there seem to be differences in build quality…

OMG it worked! - Video cable

It worked! Oh my god, I guess only those trying to drive a long HDMI cable at 4K@60Hz will understand. Let's start with the verification. I have a Denon AVR-S730H connected to a LG 65C7P with an Oppo UDP-203 capable of 4K playback. I put my AVR on the wall opposite the TV (I wanted it to be very clean under my TV). I have a basement under the house where I currently run my front left, right and center speakers. I was looking for a really long copper cable that supports 4K @ 60Hz with HDR…

Terrible cable. Information is inaccurate. None 18Gbps

Very poor quality cables. I bought a 10 foot cable. This is my setup, I have an Nvidia GTX 1060 computer with a 4K TV. TV model TCL 43S405. The cable works at 1080P. When I set the resolution to 3840 x 2160 I get artifacts like colored dots and lines all over the screen. It's at SE 4:2:0. At 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 I have no picture at all. When I set my TV to HDMI 2.0 I get no signal at all, I have to set it to HDMI 1.4 for the cable to work. The problem is with the cable, not the settings. I have a 5…
