I used it to connect a USB mic to my computer to record my band. It works without any problems and even allows to connect a microphone directly to the phone. The only downside is that it's rigid like a computer cable and not flexible like an audio cable.

I connected this to my JM912 conference cam 10ft off the ground 15ft from my recording room so it took me over 20ft. the cord it came with and he knew a long cord was better than trying to use an extension cord. It's the perfect combination, strong enough to withstand being pulled through a wall and 30+ feet, leaving a few feet of slack to get to the streaming computer. Bought a few other cables from Monoprice, this is my first long USB, it's a winner, thanks!

I got tired of buying Lexmark ink cartridges that dry out quickly so I bought this cable to move from my home office to another room with an HP to access the printer. Works great and no. Questions. High quality and I can't imagine any problems with it. I recommend.

I bought this item to connect an audio interface to my desktop computer. It doesn't work at all; Signal doesn't get through. Either the activator or the USB connector itself doesn't work at all no matter how I tried to get it to work (I checked with other electronic devices). Don't buy, save money for other USB cables that work.

I needed an active USB 2.0 cable, longer than the usual 15ft USB standard, to connect to a Santa Barbara Instruments Group (SBIG) STL 6303e astrocamera with a large chip and cooling.
