Well aligned truck, 93 commuters.

Good for the application, had some problems with double o-rings. It took me a while to figure out why I was leaking but they are working fine now.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

First pair failed in less than a year

2 stars because my last pair lasted less than a year and Monroe did not endorse the product at all! I bought again because I need an air brace to elevate my loose back of the zr2 blazer. If that doesn't work again I'll go with a skyjacker even though they aren't that big. But as long as they work

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Small lift for your truck

Monroe is a good shock absorber, but not a great shock absorber. However, for the price quoted, you can expect good service from these gas fired units. If someone is looking for a more powerful or productive device, check out Bilstein, Koni, Rancho and some other more expensive devices. I am very pleased with these shocks in their current use, a 1988 Chevrolet K1500 (4wd) standard pickup. I like being able to put some air pressure on the inflation fitting so when towing I can get the rear…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
