The gold plating looks too cheap, no idea if it really improves the picture or sound quality. I'll be back soon. When I tried to call Monster Support, I couldn't get through to anyone. The number appears to be disabled. That makes me suspicious.

This cable costs more than a lot of the options you see on Amazon but if you're going to be using 4k it's important that the cable actually runs at the advertised speed transmits. I used it to replace the HDMI cable on my 4k AppleTV living room TV with my 65" LG. The old cable dropped a signal intermittently, but there were no problems with the Monster cable.

I bought a Roku soundbar and tried several HDMI cables (one came with the Rocketfish model). Unfortunately, I occasionally lost audio, and in some cases the app increased/decreased or reset the settings. I chose this product because I am familiar with monster products. After the exchange, all my problems were solved.

Monster used to be good but I don't recommend it anymore. Firstly, out of the box it feels very cheap and versatile. Does not support 4k and is unconfirmed. The description says 1080p, which I obviously didn't read. I saw all the fake reviews and quickly read everything. I'm very new to this and didn't know some of the specs. I don't have any beat testing equipment, don't think it works as advertised.

This cable really works. My TV and streaming device with Dolby Vision would not be able to reliably negotiate 4H Dolby Vision at 60Hz with a proven HDMI cable from another manufacturer that claims to support 18Gb/s 4K UHD, but I am Ended up paying more for the monster cable and had no problems. I'm not a fan of spending too much money on cable and hype, but I didn't want to mess with yet another unknown brand and potentially waste even more time.

Disappointed as soon as I took the cable out of the box. The cable felt cheap and poorly made compared to the monster 6 inch cable I bought from Walmart a year ago. There was a large gap between the outside of the cable and the actual wire inside; When you rolled it between your fingers, it felt like thin heat shrink tubing or a thick straw. The outer portion of the cable was so flimsy and loose that I could easily hear the foil shielding on the inside crumbling as I barely moved the cable…
