It's sold as a food, topper or treat but I probably won't buy it again because our raw dog won't bother unless I add his meat topper and It doesn't rehydrate when I add water. We usually feed our dog freeze-dried raw food, so I'm familiar with these foods. We use Stella and Chewy as well as Primal and both soak it up pretty quickly when you add water and soften up like real raw food. let them take water to rehydrate them. This is a great treat for dogs. The ingredients are minimal and contain no chemicals, weird additives, or anything difficult to pronounce. The packaging says the salmon used is wild-caught by Alaskan fishermen, so you don't have to worry about the product being spoiled abroad. Both of my dogs like to try new treats but I am careful about what I give them. Most people tend to be more picky as many health issues can be related to their diet. I love the short, sweet ingredient label that looks like I'm ready to try it. Oddly enough, when someone saw the bag on the counter, they thought it was for me.
