My 7 year old son loves this hat! The inside of the hat isn't lined with fur as expected, but the most important are the snaps on the ears. I'm guessing it would probably be pretty hot if he was completely covered in fur. He loves the warmth of the soft fur on his face and the adjustable chin strap that keeps him snug.

This is a cute little hat and it definitely keeps my 1 year old's ears warm BUT the clips/fasteners under the chin can't be loosened much will, if at all. Since my little one loves to rip hats off his head and throw them far and wide, harnesses are essential to us! Well I'm leaving it now because it looks very cute.

Durability: After 1 day of use, the chin clip fell off and can no longer be found. He went to school in a short cap, the teacher takes off his clothes and then puts them back on to take the bus home. When he got off the bus, he was gone. I do not have the original packaging to return. Size/Size: My son just turned 4 years old. I ordered size 6-8 and it fits like a glove. slim.
