This machine does exactly what it says on the tin. The only downside, however, was a couple of sharp edges on the top of the base that the manufacturer didn't notice. I could make the best of them. I bought this product because it needed to be powerful enough to grind grains, spices and herbs in seconds. I quickly wore out another, cheaper spice grinder, so figured this would be a more powerful alternative. Even my husband tested it to make sure it was a good product. When he arrived we immediately put him to work grinding the dehydrated squash. It took a full three minutes for the squash to turn into powder. Slow motion and I had to let it sit to cool down in between. It has never worked
