The best everyday knife, strong and sharp! Some people are afraid the grip will be too small, I wear a (US) size XL glove and feel confident using the Eldris with no issues!

Regular Eldris has a sharp spike for striking firesticks. The light mode has a round wand so it doesn't hit the fire wand. The normal Eldris has a hard Scandinavian cut, while the light mode has a normal Scandinavian cut. No big deal, just a different design.

Super sharp, all-day comfort. I also have a regular Eldris with a complex grind and a sharpened spine. I bought it for spoon carving and wanted a smooth back for it. For me, the Eldris is a good everyday knife that can handle most of my outdoor work. I leave these in my car. These knives do the dirty work you don't want to mess up with your expensive blades.
