Excellent as expected. The instructions were questionable. I had to figure out how to assemble it. In the picture with the instructions was only the item. There are no step by step words how to assemble it.

Love this kit! The only issue I had was the locking screw on the camera plate making contact with my DSLR and I can't tighten it enough to lock it in place. I just have to crop it to round it off to avoid contact with the camera. Small inconveniences. Other than that, it's a great starter setup.

I just unpacked this shoulder pad. It took about 10-5 minutes to assemble and install my Sony FX6. Looks great. Feels solid. I'm trying to build a setup that looks like my shoulder-mounted news camera that I've been shooting with for years. I don't plan to use the following trick. This is good, light and economical shoulder gear for run and gun shooting. The gun mount handle also protects the camera mount. I would recommend.

I can honestly say I'm very glad I took it. There are a few minor flaws such as the adjustment screws in places that are really difficult to adjust without taking the rig apart and I don't have muscular fingers. It's also a good setup for "beginners". I shoot with the T4i (650D) and I feel safe, reliable and have absolutely no wobble in the setup. Bought this at the last minute to replace a stolen unit that has done about 450 on me shooting without True Run and Shoot Style (*). It takes a while to set up, not because of the poor design but because you can't trust hand tightening. Everything works when it is. It's not a good setting if you need to switch lenses in a hurry, mainly to track focus, but it's a good setting too. Here are my complaints: Bring a tightening/loosening tool. The pliers work. This is a good setup to start with. Find out what you need before you upgrade or make a change. You get a lot of good things for little money. You'll probably want to add more to customize it just like everyone else. The quality is pretty good - for the most part. The rails are pretty awful and the top handle - well it works.
