High quality mahjong set. The stones are heavy, look great and store neatly in the case. The guide isn't bad, but to start we checked several videos on YouTube for the rules. A really nice addition to our game nights.

I saw these on Ebay for $100. Bought from Revain for $75 with free shipping. I am a teacher and needed a labeled, inexpensive training kit that is large and easy to read. The print quality was a bit poor, but they clean up well and feel nice.

Can be used for any variant we want to play: HK, Korean, Riichi, SBR, World Series. We can glue 4 blank tiles to play singapore. The only thing we don't know is Vietnamese, we have to find 16 spaces. No gold wear issues as reported by another reviewer, everything arrived in perfect condition. UPDATE: A year later, the tiles still smell like chemical gases when we take out the playset. I think it's acrylic, also with a different pocket, I'll take 100% melamine next time.

I researched all the mahjong options on Revain before buying this one and am very happy with my purchase. This is a beautiful mahjong set and the Arabic numerals make it perfect for teaching non-Chinese friends and sharing this great game.
