I ordered this for my desktop as I now use it all the time for online classes. My Mac desktop is older (2011 model) so it's thicker than the screen hooks. When I first got this, it was like this blurry, blackout, shelf-like thing. I didn't even read the instructions, but it was with SUCH relief that I realized that there were 2 layers of protective film on the product. Without the protective film, it is a crystal-clear piece of plastic. I've read some people saying it would make everything blurry, maybe they didn't notice the films peeling off. Well it will do the trick. It doesn't stick to the screen like our phone screen protectors, so that's a good thing. I think. It's not "deep" enough to sit flush with the top edge of my screen. Which isn't too bad, but I hope it helps with my headache. So - keep your fingers crossed - let's see what happens. Everything seems clear. Just make sure you remove both sides of the protective cover. So it's perfectly clear. Otherwise it has a smoky color.

The screen has been badly scratched (probably after many returns) and does not sit close enough to the monitor screen for the text to be easily read. I have to manually press the screen against the monitor screen to be able to read each letter clearly, or I get a "blurred" image of the text, which is eye straining and defeats the purpose of this screen in the first place. I am incredibly grateful for this product. Even with the blue light filter on my monitor, I still get severe migraines. As soon as I put that on the monitor, the migraines stopped. I would recommend anyone who suffers from migraines or spends a lot of time in front of a computer screen to get one of these screen protectors. Another big benefit is that at the end of the day my eyes no longer feel completely dry and tight. Great product and worth every penny!
