Another wasteful creation in my opinion. There is nothing on the edges to add width to protect the laptop. Solid adhesive residue gets on the laptop and causes scratches. As with many zipped jackets, a fabric lining could be sewn along the inside of the zip to prevent contact with the laptop. Didn't impress. This item says it's for a 13" MacBook Air and that's exactly what I have. It literally won't close, and I don't understand why it's advertised as such and you can't zip the laptop in. The new MacBook Air 13 may be larger than the latest model, but that needs to be stated so we don't waste time and money on waste the return.

I am very concerned that Apple does not recommend security cables for their laptops. I couldn't find anything that would attach to my new MacBook Pro without removing the screws which would void the warranty! I was on a trip to France and really needed reassurance so I bought this book cover from Mosiso. It worked great!
