Clear on gold = good

I bought this for my new gold 12" MacBook. It fits right away but as another user pointed out it has a bluish cast on a transparent background. Material. Mine never mind. It adds minimal bulk to a very thin device, so overall it's not bad. The keyboard cover fits perfectly, although it leaves greasy fingerprints (they're clean, I swear!). It fits perfectly and protects my 2016 MacBook (from scratches and minor bumps)

2015 12 " MacBook Case

Although it hides gold on the outside of my Macbook, I like the way it looks on it and it keeps a nice look. What I also like is that I also got a keyboard case and a screen protector. Covering the keys and fitting the keyboard into the outer shell is highly recommended for this Macbook model. I was able to apply the screen protector with ease and you get a good rag to clean the screen of fingerprints and dust.

Clear case - love it, bought 2nd case

My 2nd purchase of the same case as I accidentally cracked my 1st hard case. Luckily my laptop wasn't damaged. Both the hard shell and keyboard cover don't fall off and stay in place (the keyboard cover has no stickiness, which is a plus and looks pretty thin). I didn't use a protective film. I love this clear case and keyboard cover on my rose gold 12 inch Macbook!
