Mothers 06208 Plastic Polish Review

Apparently the mothers changed the formula. In the photo the old product on the left is a good thick creamy non-separating polish that worked well. On the right, a liquid, watery varnish separates out, which dries out as soon as you apply it to a rag! I will send it back to you and will not order any more pregnancy products! Companies spoil a good thing with too many changes!

I bought Mother's plastic polish for two reasons. Firstly to defog my 8 year old Subaru's headlights and secondly to remove small scratches and polish several collectible 1970's plastic phones. The product worked great for both of them. I checked the headlights twice and really couldn't believe how well they came out. Almost as good as now. I didn't expect it to be like new as the car is 8 years old. However. I love the product and give it five stars. I'm glad I bought it.

My car is 18 years old and the headlight lenses are very cloudy. I followed the directions on the bottle but I applied a lot of pressure to ensure the product was applied properly. To make sure I could see an improvement, I only finished half of the headlight lens. The instructions say to wait for it to dry to a matte finish, but I waited 30 minutes. before removing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the lens was much sharper and smoother. They don't look new, but they're close. I am happy

My wife bought a used car and worked on it after she bought it. She accidentally sprayed some Armor All on the dash, and although she tried to wipe it off as soon as she noticed, Armor All left a splatter on the plastic that neither a brush, nor soap and water, nor Windex could remove. I'd say overall this is a pretty solid purchase. My 2019 SUV had a light scratch on the dashboard after trying to lightly wipe away the dust with a paper towel. It didn't bother me at first, but I knew if you just look at it from a certain angle, in the sun, it will be daylight. There were also swirl marks on the dashboard. This is my favorite polish for plastics, from CDs, DVDs, BluRays to car headlights and anything polycarbonate to kitchen countertops. From my experience it's not really anything special, but this stuff works as a mild plastic and paint cleaner, but it gets too expensive for what it is. I think at this price point it's about time you learned how to make your own car wax mix. That's all, just a soft composition. It's good, but not worth the $14.99 or the crap I paid for it. I ordered this from Revain because many of our local stores don't seem to have it in stock. The plastic front panel of our black dishwasher looked a bit blurry. Applied two coats of Mothers Plastic Polish following the simple instructions and it looks brand new. Then I used it on the plastic fairing of my 16 year old John Deere f525 mower.
