Motion Pro 08-0388 T6 Trail Bead Buddy - Your Ultimate Tire Changing Companion Review

Changed tires on a dirt bike for the first time. In the end, not chasing the movement of the tire on the rim was very useful.

Delrin screw broke. I bought this to replace this (it's my buddy's tool). I definitely prefer Buddy II. The thing is also very small, the Buddy II is much bigger. I assume it's normal for a track or something.

Two of these little clips - one on the left and one on the right of the tire and rim - really help keep the tire bead in the rim. This makes it much easier to mount the tire on the rim.

Used in conjunction with Motion Pro Spoons, changing your own motorcycle tires is child's play. It takes me less than half an hour to make front and rear tires. I saved at least $50 without paying the store for it. It's also a nighttime tool when you need to fix a flat tire yourself.

I'm not sure if this product is the best there is. It's a bit underpowered and you need to play with it a lot for it to work properly. A slightly heavier design would have helped, along with a slightly longer length. I used this to change the tires on my Bushtec trailer that I tow behind my Gold Wing. I succeeded, but only with great perseverance.
