I installed them in the brackets above the garage door and in the brackets above the two side entry doors. The motion detection is sensitive and the bulbs are very bright. I suspect they also record the animals walking around here in the forest because every now and then I realize that the lights are on and my wife and I are in the house. I also installed two units in my basement laundry room. They all work great!

I thought these lights didn't work, they went on and off when nobody was around, I thought they might have been triggered by insects. When I was looking for another lightbulb, I discovered that these lightbulbs detect movement through walls. I checked and verified that. So they work correctly, they just don't work for my application. They are bright but don't last as long or aren't as effective as they can see through walls.

Motion detection radar works great outdoors, unfortunately the radar can sense through the walls of the house. I installed two bulbs on the porch lights and the bulbs were great at detecting movement. We quickly found that lightbulbs also detect movement inside the home, mostly behind outdoor lights.
