This cup was used on a Hum-B Edge floor grinder that has a Dewalt D28494 6,000 rpm 5.3 HP Angle Grinder. This unit has gas-filled shocks so any vibration is eliminated -- some users reported vibration. The 12 heads produce a fine smooth finish.
Pros
Used this to take cement off of cement board for new wood flooring.
I bought this for use in my EDCO edger to remove 2 coats of epoxy paint from a concrete floor. I have used it to grind 1500 square feet and it has finally worn out. Leaves a smooth finish and has outlasted my expectations. Well worth the price.
Pros
The product arrived much earlier than expected and works great. Would order again from this seller.
Cons
The 7/8"-5/8" arbor may not fit all angle grinders
Grinds much more effectively than standard grinding stones. Excellent finish and quality. Has been durable so far. There are cheaper versions out there but their quality looks terrible which makes me concerned about its integrity. Pay a little more now, especially for safety and peace of mind considering this spins 10,000+rpm on your angle grinder.
Pros
Excellent performance
Cons
The weight of the grinder and wheel may be cumbersome for some users
The only reason I didnt give it a five star was that i had to use an adapter nut to install it on my Dewalt grinder instead of just spinning it on the shaft!
Pros
Performed as expected.
Cons
The grinding process may be loud and produce excess dust
I used the grinding wheel to level sections of my driveway that had settled. I was surprised how well it worked and how easy it was to use it. It really did a good job.
Pros
Did the job
Cons
The 30/40 grit may not be coarse enough for tougher concrete or masonry
