Works perfectly even for power hungry smartphones

*Update: After reporting the issue below, the seller sent a replacement that works GREAT! Now 5 stars for product and customer service. The phone discharges faster than Motopower charges. Installed on a 2016 Yamaha XSR900 for use with Pixel XL for use with Waze and Google navigation. Tried several different power cords to troubleshoot, with the same results.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Something different

Good USB connector on chargers

Well skip it, read the description and just plug the USB connector into the battery with no harness. It worked even though I had to connect my own battery. Works very well. Arrived quickly, took about 15 minutes to install. The hardest part was finding a place on the bike to hide it. When you buy it, make sure you buy it with a battery adapter. Otherwise you will have to make your own adapter.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Nothing here

Simple, durable, inexpensive.

I bought 6 of these to add USB charging to my motorcycle bags. and have been using it for over 2 years. They don't consume power when not in use, no frills, just charge. This is ideal when the hub is hidden and you just want to charge it. It might be a good idea to buy a tester to make sure it's working, but I just plug in my phone and say it's charging. good to go

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Has a few quirks

Works with P3 Solar Portable

I read in a previous review that this does not work with portable solar devices. Not true. That works fine. Especially with P3 Solar. I charged a small Anker power supply by connecting it to a solar panel. There is no voltage drop. It tolerates heat in the sun well. You can also connect a satellite phone to it with a USB adapter. Recommended for THRU travelers or ultralight hikers with p3 solar panel.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Reliable

Works great - good quality

I've had this on my DRZ400sm for almost a year now and it works great. I use it to charge my Samsung Note 9. Once I forgot to put on the "waterproof" case when washing my bike. I've just removed the zip ties holding it and turned it upside down to let it dry before using it again, that was 4 months ago and it's still working. I've read several reviews of this device leading to the batteries dying. Of course it will with time. I switched to the ignition key, specifically the daytime running…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Good but not great
