Does what I need.: Battery chargers

Attaches to the handlebars with some zip ties to power the phone I need for GPS and anything else I do on the road in rough terrain need. It worked great, including a full day in the rain (I didn't charge while driving). I have no complaints about the fitment, I will be buying more.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • No power

Started a fire in my van

I've been using it in my van for almost a year. Which is actually ten times less. Plugged in my iPhone USB and about 2 minutes later smoke was coming out of the bedroom while my whole family was in the van. Thank God we were all there and were able to react quickly. Terrible product! Not sure!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

It lights the fire best on motorcycles and strength sports

This product is easy to install, yet as cheap and dangerous as it gets. Bike before ride, I saw smoke coming out of the block, and the part got so hot it started to melt, I turned the bike off and disconnected the part, now it's in my trash.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Reliability

Great addition to a motorcycle

I used this to power a radar detector and headphone amplifier (helmet speaker) on a motorcycle. Very versatile attachment straps. Allows the use of cable ties or more permanent fasteners. I used rivets to attach it securely and wasn't worried about the clasps dangling. This is not my first purchase of this type of product, but it is my first DUAL USB box. Very good port protection through the cover when no cables are connected to it. I would recommend this product.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Modern

Works well, make sure your bike has a large battery capacity

I can leave it plugged in all the time, even days when the bike is off because I have a ST1300 with a large battery. A smaller bike with a smaller battery will require you to turn it off daily when the bike is off. Otherwise I give my ST1300 two USB sockets. I attached it with velcro to the inner wall of the right compartment, very handy for phone, gps, GO-Pro etc. Good reliable product, have been using it for a few months.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unreliable

Dead on arrival Motorcycle and Powersports

This was exactly the product I needed to power the USB in my Jeep dashboard. I chose a well-known brand and paid a little more to get a quality product. After I installed it, no USB port provided power. I checked everything with a multimeter. Eat up to the head confirmed. But the USB ports are not powered. Tested with several different devices and USB cables and tested USB ports with a multimeter, the connectors were completely dead. Went to the local auto parts store and bought a cheap…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • I'll write later

Always draws electricity!

I bought this product to power my phone and GPS while driving. After a few days of use, one of the USB ports stopped working. I've also noticed that this device is constantly draining power from my battery. It would be nice to know this before installing it because a dead battery on a motorbike in the middle of nowhere isn't exactly a fun thing to wake up to. Also, when I had to buy a new battery, which cost me just under $100, it wasn't very convenient to drain the battery to a place where it…

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions

  • Security

Unreliable garbage! on Motorcycle & Powersports

Got the first one, hooked everything up, started the bike and connected my phone to it. NOTHING. Checked the fuse, it's still fine. Since I cut 2 "mounting tabs" off the unit to make the installation look neat, I figured they wouldn't let me return it for a refund. So I went ahead and bought a second one, hoping the first one was just a bad one that had slipped through quality control. When I get the second one I'll plug it in and check before doing anything else. I connect my phone and alt. It

Pros
  • Multiple Competitors
Cons
  • Vulgarity

This USB is causing battery drain

Upgrade to 1 star. First perfect day of riding and this morning I got on the bike and found it stopped working. I thought it would be the perfect addition to my bike. Although I had problems with a dead battery after installation. It was starting to get cold so I just assumed the battery was dead and let the bike charge when not in use. Eventually the battery died and I had to replace it. This USB doesn't have an indicator light or anything that should be drawing power when nothing is plugged…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • There are problems
