Very happy with this product

Tried it on my GM 292 boat engine today Measured the thermostat housing with my temperature gun, opened to 160 degrees and set to 170 degrees. Very happy with this product.

Cools down my racing car.

A great way to cool down a race car. I changed it on my 351w turbo and also lowered the fan so it turns on at 165. Now my race car runs very cool even when it's been hot. It idles around 160 and peaks at 190 after a few drift laps with my Mustang. No more than 230 plus temp. 160 allows the engine to warm up to operating temp and then opens at 160 to close full flow allow, and acts as a choke plate to hold back flow to allow the cooling system to function properly.

Reduces Jeep engine temperature when idling.

My Jeep Grand Cherokee 01 is my family's workhorse. I drove between 2000 and 4500 miles a month and had problems with the electric fan. I converted it to a fan clutch setup and was still having trouble getting to 240. Then I decided to change the stats to a colder opening temp and it worked great. Idling for about 45 minutes with the AC on, it climbed to 210 where it should be. Recently my check engine light came on and I don't know why.
