died after 9 months

don't know what failsafe means. It was great, but after 9 months my engine started stalling and overheating. replaced by another brand

Pros
  • engine cooling and air conditioning
Cons
  • ugly packaging

Made my engine overheat.

I eventually deleted this and went back to stock. This caused my truck to heat up to 205-210 degrees. My co-workers kept it at 185-190.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • negative imprint

Motorad 7456-187 Failsafe Thermostat, 187°F

My problem is solved. The water pump I ordered/installed last year came with a faulty thermostat. The Delco AC box will have a Motorad manufactured thermostat but no failover function. Used in 2005 GM SUV with 6.0L Vortec engine.

Pros
  • Thermostats
Cons
  • Damaged
