The brakes were dropped off in the mailbox on the ground. The box was damaged, holes in the box, holes in two corners of the box. The brakes were damaged and could not be mounted. Disappointed with the whole brake delivery process.

There was a problem installing the drum backing. It turned out that the upper tongues were against the wheel cylinder. This also affected the sprocket adjustment lever. After sanding them about 1/8 inch each, they will fit. They've been working fine ever since, but spent a lot of time trying to figure out the fitment issue.

Came in a Ford Motorcraft box. (or so it seemed)! Probably fake too. And drum shoes are definitely not motorcraft parts. The shoes that come with it don't even work. You can't put the drum on and the brake adjust lever is weak as hell. The photos above are close to reality. Report this scam to Ford. Bullshit! Do not buy!

I haven't had much luck with the Revains filter for the car. They were supposed to fit my 2012 Ford Escape Limited AWD, but the new motorcycle drum would not fit the pads if properly adjusted. They look cheap compared to those on the car. The auto-adjust lever wobbles and wobbles. It doesn't stay in place, making installation difficult. Instead of the curved lugs that the shoe rides on the backplate, there are notches that can't keep the lube in place. They come unassembled, just in the factory

I bought these escape shoes in 2009. Although they had the correct part number, they have serious flaws. Firstly the levers on the pads that line up with the brake adjuster are too loose, I had to disassemble and remove the metal washer between the pin and lever which helped. Second, the inner shoe stays were too long, which made the new drums not fit. I had to grind down the ends that went into the top and bottom of the wheel cylinder where the shorter spring went in, they were too long…
