Motorcraft WPT1212 Multi Function Connector Assembly Review

Worked great to add a subwoofer to the factory jack on my 18 F150. Just had to enable the subwoofer option on the computer using my Forscan app.

Works very well for power, ground, remote turn on for a low powered subwoofer. I used the right rear speaker wire for the Hi-in. The entrance of it has feq. Restrictions and does not give good sound.

This wiring harness is required to install a subwoofer on the f150 using the factory wiring harness. I used this with a 200 watt foosball microamp and an Image Dynamics idv3 8 inch subwoofer. Made a wire harness with this and the wiring that came with the amp. Plug and play, except switch on subwoofer factory output with forscan.

In your 2015 onwards F150 you will find an empty plug in the post behind the LR door of your super cab. This wiring harness is perfect for connecting a subwoofer to your truck with a factory plug. You will need to "activate" the connector before you can use it, but expect an aftermarket or factory subwoofer to be installed in 20 minutes with this harness.

Works great. I wish the wires were a little longer, but I would need to add wires no matter my application. When using it to install a Memphis Nanoboxx or Kicker Hideaway type subwoofer, your subwoofer will be placed next to the driver's side in the rear without the extra cables that come with these units. If you want the subwoofer closer to the center of the truck, you'll need to solder longer wires to the block.

Connects to the factory rear subwoofer speaker wiring harness on my 2016 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew Cab. Connected to a Kicker Hideaway powered subwoofer with quick disconnects. Worked perfectly. After lots of forums I figured out how to change the factory settings on the computer to power the factory plug behind the back panel of the cab.
