The transition part of the glasses works perfectly. But they are very uncomfortable and painful. They also leave marks on the face. You'll be fine if you drive maybe 10 minutes or so. I finally put them on tonight. They did way better than a few other pairs I've tried. They offered many adjustments with the strap. It was a bit chilly outside and when I first put them on I thought they would fog up, but once the temperature evened out between the lenses and my eyes it was fine. I tried many different sunglasses to find something to help with my dry eyes that completely block wind and air. Bought for cycling in the snow. In general, I like them very much. Fits well. I put them on over the balaclava and under the helmet. Thanks to the adjustable elastic band, I was able to find a good fit. I don't know how long the rubber will last.
