Only suitable for me

I bought these for my 1979 CB650, they work and look great! Contrary to many reviews here about bars not fitting 7/8" bars, mine fit very well and I'm not worried about them falling out. Just in case, I wrapped a turn of hockey tape around the bushing and really tightened the hex bolt. It takes a decent amount of torque to expand the hub, so don't be shy. Now I like the look of the bike and the viewing angles are really good, I can see everything.

Better than I expected for $$

Excellent quality! Better than expected! To be honest I took them for two reasons. Number 1 was price. Never mounted or ridden with bar ends, so I didn't want to jump into a more expensive set if I didn't like them. #2 because the reviews were good. They vibrate less than normal mirrors. can they be better Maybe they could be much more expensive. You get what you see for your money and they are of no less quality than described. Worth 5 stars as they are better than I hoped.

Great looks, better visibility

These are great looking mirrors. They look way cooler than the standard mirrors on most motorcycles. They give the bike a meaner and cleaner look. Visibility is better than stock mirrors. Yes, they're a bit smaller, but the fact that the hands don't take up half the view is a huge plus. Some people have complained that they don't fit well, which can be the case with some bikes. Try tightening the collets a little so they are snug against the ends of the bar. This greatly facilitates tightening…

Poor fit on handlebars 7/8

These side mirrors looked great on my SV650 Streetfighter but only lasted a few weeks. At first they seemed to be of pretty good quality. Everything felt heavy and seemed quite solid. There were some installation issues where the sleeve wasn't able to expand enough and stay in place in my clamps. I finally solved this problem, or so I thought. On the way home from a trip, the mirror that socket wouldn't stay in place broke and I lost that mirror shortly after I got off the Autobahn. That brings

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No automatic

I'm not exactly a wimp, but yesterday when installing these mirrors I found it very difficult to turn the Allen key very hard. enough to tighten the thing up. As soon as I put it on there was an issue that she wouldn't hold in place. I flipped it over and over, using pliers for extra leverage on the Allen key, until it finally felt solid and I could adjust the mirror position without again knocking the mount out of alignment. Everything seemed great - nice feel, nice looks and good rear view…

  • Sturdy construction
