Description of 🏍️ Motorcycle Hard Saddlebags Saddle Bags with Mounting Kits - Compatible with Vulcan 800, 900 | Vstar 650, 1100, 1300 | Softail

Wide Suitability & Not For Sportster: The hard motorcycle saddlebags fit most motorcycles models such as Vstar Vulcan boulevard Softail with properly mounting hardware. However, they would not fit every models. For Sportster owners, you are not suggested to order them because the space between shock and tail light is too small to install the saddlebags. Also, we do not suggest ordering them if your motorcycles have the same design like Sportster. ABS Plastics: The product dimension is 15.74 (L) * 6.29 (W) * 12.20(H), the shell thickness is 0.2 inch. The products are made from high-quality ABS plastic, not recycle or used plastic. Due to the feature of ABS plastic, the saddlebag will have a little unavoidable wiggle on irregularity road. To solve it, we provide 8 rubber spacers to reduce the their negative effect as more as possible. No Advance-drilled hole: We do not add any pre-drilled holes. And, you are able to install the saddlebags with brackets based on your individual demands. The installation is not identical but the basic steps are the same for every motorcycle. (Refer to the Installation Video). Note: No installation instruction included. Package includes 1 Pair Saddlebags (Left & Right) + 2 Keys + 2 Latches. You should leave 1 inch clearance between bottom of saddlebag and the exhaust pipe. Please double confirm prior purchase. If there is any concern, feel free to contact us in advance.

So far so good with the saddlebags

I installed them on my existing gear with the hardware that came with it. They look good but seem cheap. I don't know how long they last but I really like them for the price!

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Nothing here

Saddlebag Instructions

No basic instructions or fasteners so saddlebags are either left open or locked. Looks very flimsy and looks like I'll have to drill a few holes to attach it. I haven't decided yet, but I'll probably return the product if it's too difficult to connect.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Fits

Smaller than pictured

The bags are decent don't get me wrong but they have obvious flaws. One of them is that even in light rain, water keeps getting in while driving. Because of this, I can't store anything there that doesn't need to get wet. I'll have to look around for other bags.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Almost never

Additional set of practical saddlebags

Great price for these hard shell bags. It was a bit difficult to get the supports on the bags to be in the same position. I installed the '06 Vulcan 900 with a rod, so I had three pieces for the bolt to go through when installing. It was a pain holding everything in place and installing the screws. Requires an extra pair of hands.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Gotcha

Good value for money! on Motorcycle & Powersports

The bags themselves are pretty good for the $100 price tag. The mounts, while sturdy, could use a little more attention. However, I understand that they are model independent, so anyone with MacGyver skill can customize them. I ended up installing mine using the chrome brackets that came with the worn saddlebags that the bike came with. Overall I would buy them again but prepare for some technical work.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other models

I won't buy them again but they look good.

Not bad for the price. They're pretty thin and probably won't take long to break. The installation isn't the most fun, but it's doable. The staples are too long and need to be cut off. Hopefully you have a tool that cuts through almost 1/4" of steel or they're sticking out on the underside. Generally they work. Although I'm not terribly impressed. I should have just spent more money and a better quality setup, though you look good.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • unreliable

2010 to 2019 trunk conversion

Wow. These bags are awesome. A little hesitant to order as there were 0 reviews. For $109 and free 2-day shipping with Prime, I realized what I had to lose. Opened it and was immediately impressed. There are some very small paint defects, nothing to complain about. Looks 10 times better than my 10 year old scratched bags. Anyone like me converting their 2013 or older bike to these new style bags can change their stock mounts to match. The old quick connect clips work too.

Pros
  • Few competitors

save your money It's not worth it.

I'm sitting here and I just put it on my bike. While the installation process is straightforward, the actual hardware wasn't well thought out. They move quite a bit. They are very thin cheap plastic and not worth the money at all. I already have holes in it so I'm assuming there's no way to get them back. They look like two lunch boxes bolted to my bike. I don't even know if I'll go on tour with them, let alone that there's something to it. I would pay $20 for them at a garage sale and use them

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

2020 HD 883XL Touring Look

Matches my stock 2020 HD 883 XL very well and gives it the look of a touring bike. The location of my turn signals, tag and rear shocks stick out a bit more than the mounting brackets that come with the kit. If you have an easily accessible hardware store, you can surely find something that goes a little further. I would suggest relocating the turn signals and such to avoid the bulky look. I'm currently in Belgium and touring bikes seem to be all the rage here so I mounted the bindings…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
