Terrible vibration in body and frame parts

Have you ever looked closely at a vibrating guitar string? This is what the image in the mirror looks like when you're driving at 60 miles per hour. The mirror also moves and stops at a specific point at high speeds of around 80 mph. So if you can tighten it up in that time, well done. You get what you pay for.

I used them for Yamaha but only the mirrors

So if your Yamaha has broken mirrors but the levers are still fine. I removed the broken mirror from the left side of the thread. They just removed the mirror from the new kit and mounted it on the bracket. Worked great, saved me time and money. If the arm is broken, you need to find the Yamaha's exact fit.

Looks good and easy to fit

My old mirrors kept falling off due to vibration. No matter how I dress them. So I bought them for my '87 Honda Magna. Pretty close to the series I've had. Installation and configuration took 5 minutes. Not to mention they look good. Would recommend to anyone trying to restore an old bike or add a chrome look to their current bike.

Pros
  • Body & Frame Hardware
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Works, but be prepared to compromise.

All in all these are cheap mirrors and you get what you pay for. So from that perspective they represent an amazing bang for your buck. However, to point out the obvious flaws, the rubber trim on the outside was pretty loose for me (I just took it off and reattached it with glue/sealant to keep moisture out) , the adjustment screws were quite weak and often vibrated. after a long hard ride (also because I didn't lock it and the bike it's on is a huge single that vibrates to hell and backโ€ฆ

  • Side mirrors
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

BE SAFE with your installation!

Good workmanship, high quality chrome, perfect mirrors. Unfortunately the bars didn't fit my 2005 Triumph America, which I thought had bolts on the mirror bars, but after I "unscrewed" one and got nowhere, I looked again for a nut, bolt, what - what holding the mirror. Turns out both mirrors have a "tapered fit" with no threads, just a small bolt with a large washer going into the bottom of the stem. I am crossing my fingers that the mirror heads will unscrew from the stems themselves and fitโ€ฆ
