Fast charging, not so good in dusty conditions.

Works great for what we need. We only have 2 radios, not 6. And that's a good thing, because the front one no longer loads. However, we work in a very dusty and dirty environment. Charges the radio very quickly.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • little things

Good universal charger

We have four of these chargers with 24 CLP1040 radios. These chargers work efficiently. Sometimes the indicator lights will indicate that the devices are not fully charged (if they are charged), and sometimes they will blink strangely (not shown in the instructions).

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Band

Loads and saves headsets for 6 walkie-talkies!

We have 6 radios, this charges 6 radios. Enough said. OK, I'll add more. It can be hung on the wall. Each charging port also has a pocket so you can roll up and neatly store the earpiece and cable.

Pros
  • Certificate GOLS
Cons
  • The list is getting long.

I like it because it combines chargers and power cords AND

I like it because it combines chargers, power cords AND wall plugs that come with each radio. However, you must ensure that each radio is installed correctly in order for each radio to charge. PLEASE NOTE: If you are expanding your RDX radio line and have an RDU series this charger is designed for. RDU RADIO "DIRECT REPLACEMENT" RMU SERIES RADIO NOT SUITABLE. RMU is basically the same but completely different. Different batteries, different chargers, different programming cables required, clip…

Pros
  • high marks for support and durability from testers

The best option for multiple loads

Main size. This is the smallest Motorola charger I know of and a plug is a plus. No wall wart. The plug is a standard 2 pin 110V AC to DC lamp cord used to charge the radios built into the unit. This charger, a range of radios and accessories can be easily stowed in a bag and carried to work lightly. The only downside to this is that the radios hang in slots where you'll wiggle or pull one out and sometimes have to put it back in the slot to keep the contacts strong. Sometimes you'll see a…

Absolute junk, good for CB and radio equipment

This charger is absolute junk. I bought 4 radios and this charger. I noticed that the charging lights turned green either immediately or within a few minutes of plugging in the radio (green means it's charged and red means it's charging). All I could think of was noticing my radios being randomly turned off during the day. I sent the radio back assuming something was wrong with them and received a brand new set. Of course, this problem persisted, so I turned off the radio. I found that when I…
