Cheap but great price

This product is pretty cheap (cheapest red switch keyboard I could find) and it seems pretty cheap too. However, it is mechanical and functional. It works very well for the price and I would recommend it unless you really need the ALT key on your keyboard. One problem I had with this keyboard is that it doesn't have an ALT key and if you hold down the ALT key on your keyboard to use the ALT code it doesn't work because the two connections are independent . I'm not sure how this will work when…

An excellent device for its intended use

This device is excellent and does exactly what is needed. It's finished in sleek black that's easy on the eyes and has a nice blue backlight that makes it noticeably eye-catching in a dark room. To be honest, I expected this device to be bulkier than it actually is, but perhaps the size of my keyboard made it easy for this device to stand stably on my desk. My only complaint is that the key clicks sometimes make fast typing difficult. Because of this, I became a little slower dialing numbers…

Great number pad for the price. A whim.

This numeric keypad works (mostly) as expected. The caveat is that [numlock] behaves independently of the system num lock (toggles internally, but does NOT toggle the computer's num lock (probably a workaround for MAC-OS compatibility). The numeric keypad works though as expected, albeit with a fancy Num Lock method.*Outemu clicky switches feel good (can't comment on their durability, I've already replaced them)*Doubleshot keycaps feel and look good.* Mechanical switch on the back to turn the…

Nice number pad after I modified it

Stock: The number pad is just *too* light. It feels like it's about to burst. Stabilizer bars and switches also rattle. Mine arrived, one of the LEDs is off (on the number key). But I'm not very versed in LEDs, so I didn't bother with returning it. Modifications: I had several spare steel/zinc discs. I welded them to the bottom of the case to add about 50g to the weight of the case. It really helped the feeling. I also added some foam to the body above the pucks. Then I soldered all the…

Pros
  • Glossy
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

First, I always look at price in terms of what I'm paying for a particular product in relation to the total cost/rating. Apart from that, this is the cheapest mechanical number block I could buy from Revain on 05/24/2020. I only use the numeric keypad for work that requires me to type a lot of numbers, typically 4 to 6 hours a day. Please note: I purchased this numeric keypad and TKL keyboard specifically with the intention of modifying and oiling it this way. as they say, let's get down to…
