Mount 1 Inch 4 Inch Threaded Cameras Review

I've been using RAM fasteners for a long time. This was a big disappointment. The threaded part came loose after 15 minutes of use. Luckily nothing was damaged apart from the part it bolted into and the 1/4-20 ball joint. For RAM, this seems extremely cheap.

Casting and machining well below average. This item costs about 96 cents. It's rough and badly formed. It has not been cleaned or prepared in any way. When you need it, it will be due. But don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. This is a Chinese POS.

It came as promised, the packaging is as in the photo. There are burrs on the aluminum part, the Rogue is overmolded and not clean on the aluminum mounting surface, and there are burrs on the ball that are slightly smaller than other socket mounts I've had.

Removed mounting covers and screws on Taco rail and replaced each with ball joints. Usually hold the phone mount down with the hinge extension, and it's there too if extra bracing is needed. Taking into account the possible relocation of the front panel of the remote ham to the top mount.

I ordered the same product a few months ago. I didn't think of that at the time, but I wasn't thrilled either. Fit and finish were poor. The plastic drips onto the steel pin. The ball itself was rough and uneven. The second one I got today was even worse. Very very poor fit and finish. But I'm going on a business trip in a few days and I don't have time to replace it. Your quality control department needs to take a closer look.

I have been a RAM fan and user for a number of years and this is the first time I have had to complain about your product. I just received a 1" ball with a 1/4"-20" set screw, except quality control let this slip through without enough threads. It arrived with only two threads on the shaft which definitely won't hold anything let alone fit the expensive camera I ordered it for! my table.

Not sure if these are real frame mounts. They are chewed around the post, and the coating that is on the attachment ball is also on the post. The jagged metal cut my finger, I can think of a few things that caused it but I would guess. They definitely don't look like many other ball joints I've bought in the past. I'm disappointed because they are part of a gift this Christmas to keep phones in family members' cars. Not sure what I'm going to do here, I was expecting new perfect ram mounting…
