Atypical RAM quality.
I've been using RAM fasteners for a long time. This was a big disappointment. The threaded part came loose after 15 minutes of use. Luckily nothing was damaged apart from the part it bolted into and the 1/4-20 ball joint. For RAM, this seems extremely cheap.
