Great little mount.

Great little mount. It keeps my projector as close to the ceiling as possible while still being adjustable. East to install and set up your projector. Mine only has 3 mounting holes on the bottom and works great with only 3 levers. The other is only a little waisted and does not bother. My brother uses the same one and we are impressed, especially for the price.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Lots of things

Not compatible with OPTOMA projectors!

Revain offered this mount with our projector when we bought it so I bought it. When I went to install everything, this mount wasn't even compatible. I'm very comfortable and can usually get things working like this, but the screws that came with it weren't long enough. I can't say anything about ease of installation and durability. I will return it due to lack of compatibility. If you have projectors or order Optoma!

Durable and versatile!

Very strong attachment. The package includes mounting screws of various sizes to fit almost any projector and an Allen key for adjustment. I bought it for a thin Casio projector which is quite small. This mount is definitely designed for full-size consumer projectors, but with a little fiddling with the adjustable arms, I was able to get it working. So extra points for compatibility (even with a projector that's *not* supposed to be compatible).

Easy to use and install.

I taped it to the ceiling. My projector isn't heavy at all, only 6 pounds, and holds it up well. it's strong The only problem I had was finding the right configuration of the "arm" pieces to match the triangle pattern on the bottom of my projector. I had to detach one of the arms and tweak them a bit, but it worked fine. I think that should go without saying, but: measure twice. cut/assemble once. Just make sure it has to go to avoid extra holes.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Mount my BenQ projector

You don't need more for a mount. My BenQ projector has 3 mounting points so I didn't use a third hand. The arms stretch and articulate in any direction, so I think this should work with 99% of projectors. It has many adjustment points and even includes an Allen key so you don't have to look for your own. The materials appear to be of good quality and I would trust them to support much more than the weight of my projector. I can't imagine what a more expensive pry bar could do. Highly…

It took a lot of creativity to put it together, but now it's awesome!

Works great although I had to adapt it to the projector. It seems made for a bigger projector. No problem. I removed a lever and added some of my own screws and spacers. It fits perfectly and is easy to customize to suit your needs. In addition, it can be easily removed by pressing a small switch on it. Cool! He looks professional. I really can't complain because with a few tweaks I got it working. However, someone unfamiliar with setting something up (changing the original instructions) might…

Pros

Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

I will buy again if I need this design.

Benefits: Everything you need to mount your projector. Very nice, high-quality faucet. Comes with many different sized screws to fit the projector base plate. Cons: Ceiling anchors are huge and look like standard pipe anchors. You need to pre-drill before using. This form of anchoring can be very problematic when working with drywall as it usually doesn't hold up well. It would be ideal for concrete installation. Ugly: The mounting plate that fits on the projector is too standard. This can be…

Pros
  • Fully adjustable: side shift, tilt, roll, swivel and quick release
Cons
  • Clarity

Inexpensive and good for setting up a Halloween projector.

I needed a solid way to mount large projectors this Halloween. Cheaper projectors have the same type of tripod mount as cameras, but larger ones use this four-screw standard. I don't know how standard this is as all the brackets are easily adjustable to get at the holes. I have two different projectors and the mounting positions are different. This mount worked well with each of them. You'll have to work a bit to balance it all out or it will get heavy in the front or back (or maybe even the…

Very light and versatile but has a slight strength issue.

There are a few negative things to say about this ceiling mount. I first managed to ceiling mount an Optoma X343 projector and it worked like a charm! It was really easy to install and endlessly versatile. Manufacturers like Epson, Optoma, and Sony have their own versions of these mounts that cost around $100. That's just over 1/10th the price of their bindings, and they're very similar and fit all with little to no difference in quality. The bracket consists of 2 pieces of solid metal. One…
