Heavy duty projector mounts

Bought an Epson 4010 projector which is twice the size and weight of the previous projector. Stumbled upon this lever and sold. The bracket can be adapted to different hole patterns. I installed it with 2 studs and was able to easily adjust it to get the level of the projector.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Missing disclosures. No response from CC. Not recommended.

Was looking forward to installing a home theater up until the weekend. I ordered it to hang up a projector. But there are no parts in the box. I went to the Mount-It website and wrote to the support team. No Answer. I called every extension I could find. Leave messages. No Answer.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Projector with Great Wall mount. Modified arm for shorter distances.

Works great. I cut the projector mount to 13 inches with a band saw. Moves a little when my kids slam the door but the image doesn't change. Overall very happy with the purchase for the price. Couldn't find a comparable wall mount that I could easily modify.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Makes me angry

The Best Projector Mounts

I have an Epson 5050 that weighs 25 pounds so I tried all three mounts. It's the only one that seems appropriate. You say it's for front or rear panel mounting, but the cantilever mounting bar is 31.5" long and I need a way to saw the bar down to about 15"? I don't want to work with a hacksaw for hours.

Pros
  • Outstanding Design
Cons
  • Gotchas

Works perfect! I modified by cutting the main support bar in half!

now it works perfectly and no longer protrudes beyond the beamer! It took about an hour to cut it with a hacksaw. I swear this thing is tungsten carbide or something. My wife and I took turns cutting it in half. lol Anyway it's much stronger and less torque on the wall when the projector is closer to the wall. The cut I made looked professional and the end cap fitted perfectly. It looks like it's done. I definitely recommend this purchase.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old man
Cons
  • there are defects

It actually has 3-axis adjustment, with one caveat. Horizontal rotation is accomplished by sliding through curved slots on a circular disk. The device can be tilted using the upper screws. It does offer left or right yaw, but with a caveat: you have to predetermine the angle, as it's not easy to adjust once you've mounted the projector to the brackets. The two screws can only be adjusted under the round disc. The large screw that sets it into the top rail is crucial, and I found that I used…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Adjustable in three positions, but with one caveat. Horizontal rotation is accomplished by sliding through curved slots on a circular disk. The device can be tilted using the upper screws. It does offer left or right yaw, but with one caveat: you have to predetermine the angle, as it's not easy to adjust once you've mounted the projector to the brackets. Pros
  • FULL MOTION PROJECTOR WALL MOUNT: Achieve the perfect projection angle with tilt, pan and swivel adjustments. Up to 40 degrees of tilt, 30 degrees of pan and 30 degrees of yaw make it easy to perfectly adjust the projector for the best viewing experience.
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

All wall mounts seem to have mixed reviews, so I've selected 4 of the most suitable and reliable mounts to compare. Everything seems very well constructed and I would trust any of them with my projector. Each mount has a cross post with associated photos. Assemble it! Wall mount for short throw projectors: - Pros: Sturdy construction, the only decent all black option other than Elitech. - Cons: As another reviewer said, if you want to adjust the horizontal rotation angle, you can't adjust it…

Pros
  • SECURE AND EASY WALL MOUNTING: Includes mounting hardware for easy assembly and installation. Fix the short-throw projector mount to the wall stand with 4 screws, then adjust and attach the mounting head brackets according to your projector size. Route the cables through the cable management holes on the projector arm for a clean look. Enjoy the benefits of your new projection setup now.
Cons
  • Some bugs
