I think they are great but too expensive.

I don't know why they're so expensive, they're nice, warm and stretchy but I don't feel the price unless you really know the brand? Lots of other options for $90.

Cons
  • The list will be long.

Soft, comfortable and warm.

They're so flexible and comfortable I know they're "work gloves" but don't be surprised if they become my new driving gloves lol. They're very warm, although I haven't had a chance to test them in frosty weather. Honestly I can't wait. Bring the cold I don't have big hands but the medium ones fit me perfectly. zero complaints. I'll update if they self destruct or something.

Pros
  • Like all others so far
Cons
  • Nothing here

Exceptional Best in Gloves & Mittens

These gloves are really very good. They were soft right out of the gate, but not flimsy. Nice features, works well with the touchscreen, easy to attach to a belt or jacket with loops. The reinforced stitching really makes a difference and has held up well so far. This company does really good stuff, using premium materials like Kevlar thread and Goldloft insulation. I know the cost of materials has gone up but I still wish they weren't so expensive so I could order a few more pairs!

Excellent but expensive work gloves

Excellent comfortable gloves. I like that they come in sizes other than large as I sometimes prefer tighter fitting work gloves. They are very comfortable, well padded and very durable. They fit me snugly which I want but it makes them a bit difficult to put on and take off but they are great for work. They almost forget they are there. My only small problem is the price. Sure, you get what you pay for, but in my opinion, $85 is a lot of money for a pair of work gloves.

Not sure if this glove came loose from the packaging.

I have an insulated and reinforced work glove from Wells Lamont that is very similar to the Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine work glove. And for a quarter of the price of this MH glove I can easily afford a spare pair. Here is what is unique about this MH glove. The wrist straps are longer and tighter, and there is an O-ring for hanging these gloves. whatever, and there's a very small reflective strip on the ring finger. There is no snot plaster for a runny nose.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • High price

Comfortable fit

Great set of work gloves. Made from high quality materials for longer use. Overall, the stitching was even and straight with no manufacturing flaws or loose threads to cut anywhere. A very good sign of excellent quality control. Has a loop for hanging and can be tied together so one doesn't go on holiday without the other. Details are made of cowhide and also goatskin. Both together contribute to the longevity of the set. They wear well and hours of use is easily achievable with little fanfare.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Hard to say

Comfortable and well made

Good: - Reinforced seams - Stretch band at wrist for custom fit. - Sleeve hole makes it easy to put on and take off. Bad: - The instructions state that you cannot wash and wipe your hands with a damp cloth. I ordered the Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine Work Glove. My son wears a medium to large men's size and I went for the medium size. He likes the gloves for their quality, fit and design. There is a carabiner on the index fingers for easy hanging. The inner fabric is soft, comfortable…

Very good work glove for cold and cold weather

These Mountain Hardwear Route Setter Alpine work gloves may surprise you with their relatively high price, but after loading, moving and unloading a U-Haul trailer with furniture, the come is a long way from Pennsylvania to Connecticut, I'm sure it's worth the price. Goatskin worktops are pleasing to the eye and hand and seem to wear well. I would describe it as a work glove for cool and cold weather, as the word "Alpine" in the name is supposed to indicate. The gloves are tight but not…
