Once I figured out the clever tie rod design, installation was a breeze. Note: It slides out (see image) so you can easily slide the strap through and adjust to about the right size, then slides out again for you to tighten.

I am using 6 of these signs to attach 3 disability signs to 6 inch steel poles at the edge of a commercial building parking lot. They are very easy to install and allow me to adjust the height, angle, etc. My only complaint is that the wind pulling on the shield loosens the bolts a bit, requiring occasional tightening. Some thread locker would be nice.

We used them to install CCTV signs on lamp posts at our HOA. It was a lot easier than I expected. The key is to attach the shields to the brackets until the straps are attached. After the signs are located and aligned, tighten the straps. Keep the lag bolts in the open space between the shields. There are no installation instructions, so I'm listing it here.

Two mounting brackets were used to mount a large, heavy railroad crossbar sign to a 4-1/2 inch diameter pole. The screw mechanism on the clip is very clever and makes it easy to tighten and tighten the slotted band. Installing a large and heavy cross sign on a large pole was very quick and easy with a cordless drill and socket! I have found these to be very high quality and economical sign straps.
